The MSI MAG B550M Mortar WiFi motherboard supports AMD Ryzen™ 5000 & 3000 Series desktop processors (excluding AMD Ryzen™ 5 3400G & Ryzen™ 3 3200G) and AMD Ryzen™ 4000 G-Series desktop processors. It is based on the AMD B550 chipset.
The motherboard has four DDR4 memory slots with a maximum capacity of 128GB. It supports various memory speeds ranging from 1866MHz to 4400MHz (with overclocking). The memory operates in dual channel mode and supports both non-ECC and ECC UDIMM memory.
Expansion slots include one PCIe 3.0/4.0 x16 slot, one PCIe 3.0 x16 slot (operating at x4 mode), and two PCIe 3.0 x1 slots. The availability of certain specifications depends on the installed processor. The second PCIe x16 slot may be disabled when an M.2 SSD is installed in the M2_2 slot.
