The TORX FAN 5.0 design includes enhancements that result in a 23% increase in airflow compared to traditional axial fans. The cooling system also includes core pipes that are precisely crafted to maximize space usage. These heat pipes make full contact with the vapor chamber, allowing for efficient heat transfer throughout the entire heatsink.
The updated heat pipe pathing creates more room for additional heatsink fins, improving overall cooling efficiency. Fins with V-shaped cutouts are strategically placed to enhance airflow, and the inclination angle and wave notch shapes help direct warm air out faster. The sturdy metal backplate includes thermal pads for extra cooling, and the flow-through ventilation reduces trapped heat.
When temperatures are low, the fans stop completely, eliminating noise when active cooling is unnecessary. They will automatically start spinning again during gaming or when the heat increases. The TORX FANs utilize durable ball bearings for long-lasting performance, and the card is reinforced with a die-cast anti-bending plate. Thermal pads ensure effective cooling for critical components underneath the card.
